Cancer Gene Tests

Cancer is defined as an uncontrolled division of abnormal cells and the malignant growth or tumour results from this division. The word cancer is a transliteration of the Greek, karkinos. Karkinos, the Greek word for crab, was used by Hippocrates to describe tumours, as on examination the veins surrounding the tumour resembled the pincers of a crab.

We offer many cancer-specific tests, which may be diagnostic, prognostic or assist with drug-targeted therapy.
